Foldable and easy to move
MagniLink Mini is ideal for use in classrooms and workplaces where the user frequently need to move the video magnifier between different rooms and locations. With a USB cable, it can be easily connected to a PC or an iPad, which then displays the image from the camera.
Despite its compact size, MagniLink Mini is very powerful. Use the combined document and distance camera’s 10x optical zoom to view text, images or objects in full HD quality. To switch between distance and document mode couldn’t be easier. Simply turn the camera head up, fold out the camera lens, and the document camera instantly becomes a distance camera.
Software for PC and iPad included
Software for using MagniLink Mini with a PC (Windows) or iPad is included. This software controls the video magnifier’s features – such as magnification, artificial colors, and brightness – and gives the user the ability to save images, record video, process text with OCR (Text to Speech), or make individual adjustments for the best experience. These smart features enhance participation at school, work, and home!
To use MagniLink Mini with a PC, use the MagniLink TABViewer software. For iPad, use MagniLink Viewer.
Text-to-Speech (TTS) software
The MagniLink TABViewer and MagniLink Viewer software include Text-to-Speech (TTS), which converts printed text into speech. This feature enhances reading comprehension and retention by allowing you to listen to the text while reading. You can choose how the text is presented: “page mode,” “line mode,” “word mode,” “image mode,” “image and word,” and “image and line.” You can easily follow the text on the screen while listening. The software detects the language used in the text and adapts the voice according to the language. Additionally, the text can be saved and opened in an editing program for proofreading or further processing. For MagniLink TABViewer there’s also a Premium OCR availalbe.
